Amber Riley thinks this is not the time for gossip about Lea Michele’s behavior while shooting Glee together years ago! That being said, the actress made it very clear that she will no longer be addressing the controversy aside from what she said about it in a new interview.
Instead, she wants everyone to switch their full focus on the current fight against racism in America.
As you know, protests have been taking place all over the country in the aftermath of George Floyd’s killing by a police officer.
The man was murdered in plain daylight while multiple people were filming.
You might have heard that, amid this fierce fight for justice, a controversy over how Lea Michele acted towards former Glee co-star Samantha Ware, and others part of the cast, appeared.
About this, Amber told Danielle Young that: ‘I don’t give a s**t about this Lea Michele thing. I really don’t give a f**k. I do not want to be asked about it.. I don’t give a s**t. People are out there dying. Being murdered by the police. Transgender women are murdered at the hands of men.’
After all, there are far more important things people should be focusing on at this time, particularly the protests happening not just nationwide but all over the world.

Following Samantha’s post in which she called Lea out for making her life a ‘living hell’ on set of Glee, she apologized, claiming that while she did not remember ever saying that she would ‘s**t’ in the other actress’ wig she ’acted in ways which hurt others. Whether it was my privileged position that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or even inappropriate at times, or whether it was my immaturity and me being difficult, I apologize for my behavior and for the pain which I’ve caused.’
