Axdy is a UK-based electronic music artist who was born and brought up in India. He began writing music at age 14, and since his childhood, he had never received any formal musical training and has self-learned every element of music-making affairs. Axdy’s process involves the usage of synthesizers to write the entire framework of music and then continued by manually programming the complete project on his workstation.

All of Axdy’s works are of avant-garde origin, breaking the traditional approach of making music in many ways. Also, the artist strictly believes in making distinctive art that can cut through any industry in the world, hence never restricting his works to a specific market or country.

Axdy’s song Love will always wonder has deep electronica and slow pop influences; a drum machine plus chords and stabs, calling to mind the best tune progressions in music history. It’s an evergreen piece with an early industrial ambience, tending towards the bleak but melodic. And catchy, vastly catchy.

Love will always wonder starts with atmospheric synth chords, then the percussion, setting the upbeat tempo at 15 seconds, before the vocals begin at 30 seconds. The song builds slowly, similar to many of the best moody synthpop tunes. Axdy’s singing in the first verse is quite controlled and relatively soft before he hits the higher notes in the form of falsettos on the chorus, backed by a shredding electric guitar riff.

The break after the first chorus brings the percussion to the fore with a bouncy electro beat that continues under the second verse. The delivery is once more constrained until the chorus, where the electric guitar riff returns before a repeat of the chorus including a twanging sound reminiscent of a jaw harp.

The lyrics are quite clear and beautifully written, delivered in a way that uplifts the listener to sing along. In Love will always wonder, Axdy delivers a mini rock opus that goes from restrained to the anthem in just over three minutes. And that’s the ultimate way to do it!
