The 117 rooms in the main building are minimal but stylish, with plenty of light thanks to floor-to-window ceilings, and functional custom-made wardrobes, units and floors in fine woods. Expect calming hues of greys, whites, beiges and creams broken with dashing green sofas, slick hanging lamps and replica-log side tables.
They are also technologically up to date, with smart televisions and tablets, and electronically activated wall panels for lighting, room-cleaning and air-conditioning. All rooms come with working desks, small but comely bathrooms with curvaceous sinks and reasonable-sized shower rooms with Molton Brown products, as well as a minibar with complimentary soft drinks and a Leysieffer coffee machine.
There are also small kitchenettes with hobs, a sink, microwave, cutlery and a fridge that can be used for an extra €15 (£14) per night. Some rooms have balconies—though the views aren’t up to much.
