Despite many ups and downs throughout his career, Gucci Mane has managed to maintain a very dedicated fan base.  Since the release of his debut album, Trap House, in 2005, Gucci Mane has spent almost as much time in jail as he has on stage.  In 2009, he served a year long jail sentence stemming from a probation violation related to another case.  Currently, Gucci is serving a jail sentence that originally had his release date set in late 2016.  However, recent reports have stated that Gucci may be getting out a year earlier than expected.

Although news of a possible early release is exciting, for some, his release can’t come soon enough. Gucci Mane fans everywhere have been been waiting patiently (and anxiously) for the rapper to return to the stage and the studio.  Due to his incarceration, Gucci Mane has had to miss or cancel several shows. In a letter, which Gucci penned from prison, he shared that he can’t wait until he is a free man so he can finally get his career back on track.  He stated: “My idea is to take my career to the next level. I am planning to take my music to a higher level and use the attention and influence to sell movies, books, clothing and be a living testimony to all people showing that you can start from humble beginnings and transcend to something greater.”

However, when Gucci Mane finally does get released, he will be coming home to fans who never lost faith in the trap god, Gucci Guwop.  Here are tweets from fans who are willing to go to great lengths to see a Gucci Mane concert.

It’s nice to see that Gucci Mane still has such dedicated fans, especially after Gucci Mane himself is no stranger to missing his own concerts.  Earlier this year, Gucci man was sued by a concert promoter after failing to show up to a show way back in 2009.

This dedication is almost bordering on insanity.  After fracturing a foot, or any other body part for that matter, the only place you should probably be trying to get to is the emergency room.  However, for this user, Gucci Mane’s music must possess some sort of magical healing powers.

I'd do anything to go to a Gucci mane concert

— Henry (@HenrySanson7) October 3, 2013

Let’s hope by “anything” @HenrySanson7 is willing to loan Gucci Mane some bail money, because at this point, that’s the only thing that’s going to make a Gucci Mane concert possible.
